Incubet

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. What this is

Incubet hosts event-based prediction markets on publicly announced startup accelerator admission outcomes. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

2. No affiliation

Incubet is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Y Combinator, Alliance DAO, Base, a16z, Techstars, or any accelerator whose admission outcomes are referenced. Names and logos are used only to identify the programs markets refer to.

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to participate in event contracts where you live. Event contracts and prediction markets are regulated or restricted in some jurisdictions — it is your responsibility to know and follow your local laws. We may restrict access where required.

4. Risk

Trading involves risk. You can lose your entire stake. Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Market odds are the crowd's opinion, not a promise of any outcome.

5. How markets settle

  • Markets settle ACCEPTED or REJECTED based on the publicly announced or verifiable admission outcome for the listed startup and cohort.
  • All predictions are final once placed — they cannot be edited, cancelled, or withdrawn. Deposits close before decisions are announced.
  • The wallet that listed a startup earns a share of the final gross pool (currently 2%), paid at settlement regardless of outcome.
  • If an outcome cannot be reasonably determined (e.g. a startup withdraws, a cohort is cancelled), the market may be cancelled and stakes refunded.
  • Settlement decisions are made in good faith and are final.

6. Listings

If you list a startup, you confirm the information you submit is truthful, you have the right to share it, and you understand it becomes public. We may remove listings that are fraudulent, infringing, unlawful, or abusive. Markets with no activity may be removed at our discretion.

7. Fair play

Don't manipulate markets, exploit bugs, submit false listings, impersonate others, or use the site for money laundering or any unlawful purpose. We may void activity and restrict access for violations.

8. Wallets and fees

You are solely responsible for your wallet, keys, and transactions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. A platform fee, shown before you confirm, is applied to stakes. Network fees are set by the blockchain, not us.

9. The service, as-is

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, market outcomes, blockchain failures, or third-party software.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
